Platycerium ‘Wolverine’
P. veitchii ‘Auburn River’ × P. willinckii

‘Wolverine’ is a hybrid that combines the upright, silver growth of P. veitchii ‘Auburn River’ with the longer, more divided fertile fronds of P. willinckii. Mature plants develop tall shield fronds and narrow, branching fertile fronds with a strong silvery coating.

These plants are pups from our own ‘Wolverine’. We separated and rooted them individually, and they are now established and ready to grow on in a new home.

Because they are vegetatively propagated pups rather than spore-grown seedlings, they are genetically identical to the parent plant.
